The Aguacaliente Wildlife Sanctuary covers 5, 492 acres including land and water.It includes fresh water lagoons, two hot springs and several streams.The lagoon and the surrounding forest areas are home to a wide variety of birds, mammals, orchids, butterflies and insects.
