Caye Caulker

Just a short hop north from Belize City lays the small island village of Caye Caulker. The island is a paradise for those looking for tranquility, sun, sand, and sea. There is not much to do in Caye Caulker expect for trips to the coral reef for snorkeling and diving. The village is quaint and colorful with small mom and pop cafes along its three sandy lanes.

The hotels are mostly basic and moderate and just a few feet from the sea. The big attraction of the island is the Belize Barrier Reef that runs along its entire coast. Day trips from San Pedro and Belize City are available. Maya Island offer daily flights to Caye Caulker from San Pedro and Belize City. From all other towns connect via Belize City except from Corozal you need to fly via San Pedro.
