Glover's Reef
Glovers Reef is the southernmost of Belize's triad of atolls and the least frequently dived. There is pure dive adventure among the spectacular reefs and pristine waters, it features many world class dive sites including the Pinnacles. The Pinnacle is actually a large area encompassing six individual dive sites off the southwest side of the atoll.
They are all typified by tall, striated coral heads sitting on a sloping sand and tall shelf. The enormous heads rise to within 20 feet of the surface. Several sites are known for large Nurse Sharks that lie in potholes or beneath ledges. Often, a squadron of Eagle rays patrols these heads along the offshore side. Glover's is also legendary for the many modern and ancient wrecks strewn about the atoll.
